Art Therapy Club invites students to sit back and relax with art mediums

NMU's Art Therapy Club invites any and all to come and immerse themselves in art to escape from the stressors of reality and relax with some hands-on activities.
NEW MANDATES—As Omicron variant cases rise, NMU along with others across the U.S. are now switching to wear the safer mask choice of N95 or KN95 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. NMU is requiring anyone on campus to wear the N95 or KN95.

In-person classes: staying safe or taking a risk

With NMU pushing in-person classes back a week and now coming back to campus, students are left with mixed feelings on whether going back in person was the right move or not.
STUDENT SUPPORT—The student organization, Student Supporting Professors, marched on Monday, Oct. 26, from The Woods to the University Center to show support for faculty with their ongoing contract mediations.

Students, faculty and community members gathered in Ballroom III of the University Center on Monday, Oct. 26 for the university forum to show support for the faculty with their ongoing contract mediation.
CELEBRATION—The National Transfer Student Week booth in Jamrich, outside room 1100, is a place for transfer students to stop at during the week to collect buttons, information and pin where they went to school before on the map. The booth will be active all week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help spread the celebration of transfer students.

National Transfer Student Week is held Oct. 18-22 to celebrate transfer students and their journey throughout higher education.
SHOWING SUPPORT—Most years students can see greens and golds fill the city of Marquette, to display their NMU support. This year, students saw the town flood with red as signs saying support NMU faculty were displayed in windows, front yards and even in their cars.
